2002 Questions for all other cars 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a Rover 25 1.6 2002 and need to replace the alternator. Can you explain the procedure. I have attempted to remove the alt . Even thou it seems simple enough I don t wont to start something I cant fiinsh. ie; do you need t remove the RAD and where is the belt tensioner . The question is that can this be done at home. The alternator has A/C and is mounted at the top of the engine as opposed to the 200 series which is mounted further down. Hope you can help.
