2002 Civic Clock wont reset

I replaced the battery on my 2002 Civic Sedan. The clock now just blinks all the tme. I have tried to reset per the maunal but it just keepes blinking and I cannot change the time.

I would unhook again. Does the clock proceed to keep time after it starts to blink? Can you tell if the buttons you need to push are really working. Play with the buttons to see if pushing them from different angles allows for some change or shows activity. Hot sun, etc can cause the clock to work button the problem you have can be a problem. Usually this is on older vehicles though.
