2002 Aztec 100,000 miles

I went to the mechanic to put freon on my Vehicle I thought that was all it need , the mechanic put it on then the A/C start cooling , then the 3rd day start blowing hot air , so my question is would that be leak or compressor ? would the A/C blow cold air even compressor is not functioned. please help me

Very high probablity that you have a leak. Hopefully dye was put n to the system to check for leaks in the event that the job went as yours did.

Compressor must work to get cold air.

I haven't take it to the MECH , but hopefully is just a leak like you said and not the Commpressor.
