hi there, i have a rover 25 and when i press the clutch down i can hear it grinding and i loud creaking noise,, it dosent do it when the engine is not running. I also does it everytime i change gear but its changing gear fine..any ideas

Hi there, i would say that the clutch thrust bearing is seizing, the gear box will have to be removed it inspect this item.

I agre with mhpautos. I also found that the clutch forks can also make that noise.
