I recently replaced my alternator belt and it has begun squealing when i drive the car. The noise is not constant but mostly comes when the car is idling. It will disappear after the car accelerates past 3000 RPM. I notice if i spray a silcon lubricant on the belt the noise will disappear for a few days before it starts up again. Can anyone help and tell me what's going on?
