2001 L200 with electrical problems

I am having trouble with the gas gauge and the radio read out.

The gas gauge stays on full all the time.

The radio readout sometimes gets garbled which seems to disable most of the radio functions.

Any ideas?

Two different problems. The radio needs to be replaced as they can't be repaired.

Gas gauge may be the in tank fuel level sensor. It is a simple circuit from the tank to the gauge. About 10% of the time it is a gauge problem. You need a mechanic to check it out. Good luck
