Okay,
So I took my friends advice and washed out my engine at a local high pressure car wash. I took the necessary precautions and covered my AEM intake, and all other vulnerable parts. When I drove away, my car seemed to lag (wouldn't accelerate past 35mph), then the "check engine" light came on, and the car went back to normal. When I got home, I noticed that my intake engine anchor was broken. Water and/or vapor must have gotten in through the 1/4 inch hole. I took off the engine cover, and took out the spark plugs. The two middle were wet. I allwed the engine to dry out for a day, reinstalled everything. Drove the car on the highway past 80mph. Everything "seems" fine. When I was decelerating though, the car seemed to stutter. What could the culprit be? Please help! BTW, the "check engine" light is still on. And it might be me, but the exhaust seems to smell stronger than usual.

I suspect the plug wires. Smell could be improper detonation of fuel and that could cause the CEL to come on and maybe point to the O2, catalytic etc but the problem probably is a bad plug wire.
