1999 Questions for all other cars Front Wheel Drive Manual

my car battery has been draining overnight. I've had a new alternator and a new battery but this continues to happen. The mechanic said that there is a 6 amp drain on my battery. Any ideas? I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for works that does not need to be done
My car is a Rover T reg. 1995 cc disel

Well it appears your Tech knows how to do a phantom drain test. But does not know how to isolate the circuit. While the meter is hooked up reading the 6amp drain start pulling fuses when drain drops there is your circuit. Then consult wiring diagram and do the same to each componet.
Hope this helps let me know

Hi dilysmegicks,

Docfixit has explained well.

With such a high drain, I would be going for the relays first, lesser of them to pull, but harder though. :)
