1997 Questions for all other cars 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 40000m miles

everytime i accelarate the engine i heard knocking but during normal speed no noise like knocking occur

Sounds like its pinging check the EGR valve, ignition timing and could be the type of fuel you are using.

Hi there,

I would just like to add to the previous great advice, as you have not mentioned what type of engine you have, if it is a DFI type ignition (no distributor) you will have a knock sensor, this may be faulty, a scan will give a code for this problem.
