The car starts and within 3-6 seconds will stall out. Takes excessive cranking but it'll come back to life. If I fight with it for long enough it will stay on. Some days (not always associated with temp) it gives no problems at all, turns on, no stalls, and everything works fine. If it has given me problems stalling on start it will often times also give me problems with acceleration. RPMs will be going up as usual and then the car will act like I've pulled my foot entirely off the gas. If I actually do pull off the gas it will resume RPMs. If I hold the gas down at the same level it will act as though I'm "punching" the gas repeatedly. Going up hill / down hill does not appear to affect it.
Here's the weird part to me though, once it has achieved a speed, it has no difficulty accelerating to that speed again. The car does not stall out at lights, and gives no trouble once it's been in use and achieved a speed.
Any ideas before I take it in would be helpful. If you need more information I probably already have it, but I can do basic tests. I am not knowlegable about cars at all, but I understand troubleshooting as I'm into computers.
