1997 f150 4wd indicator light

My indicator light does not come on when I switch to 4wd. The truck does not go into 4wd. I have not used it since last winter and it was fine. I recently had my front brakes replaced and some of my front joints repaired. I was wonder where I could start looking for the problem.

Hey Tom
A common problem w/ those trucks is the x-fer case motor. (I'm assuming you have "push button" 4X4)

it has a switch on the dash to go into 4w drive
