I have a Premier 118 (Nissan Engine - 1198 cc)
The car runs fine when the AC is switched off. When its switched ON the car heats Up to a degree that last week the head gasket blew away. Nobody is able to find ou the reason for the over heat.
-> Ive replaced the Radiator Cap
-> Got the Radiatior De-clogged (its a Copper Radiator)
-> Changed the coolant
-> Got the valve settings done
-> Changed the engine oil

Appreciate your help.

Car details - Its a Lada Body with Nissan engine (its called Premier Ne118 here in India)
Transmission - 4 speed + Reverse

Thakur

Hi Thakur,

We do not have any data on the vehicle and you would have to provide some answers to enable us to understand your vehicle.

1. Is vehicle equipped with electric cooling fans or mechanical fans? If mechanical fans, is it viscous coupling type?

2. Do you need to top up radiator coolant most of the time?

3. When AC is turned on, does driving at moderate speed help to maintain the temperature?
