1994 caravan cooling fan runs all time

My 1994 Grand Caravan's cooling fan wont shut off. The solenoid seems fine and opens and closes when power is applied and removed. The fan speeds up when the A|C is turned on but never shuts off even when cold. There doesnt seem to be a sensor and the dealer said the fan is controlled by the PCU(?). The water temp guage works fine so I dont think its the main coolant sensor either. The fan draws alot of amps so I'm guessing its putting a constant load on the alternator too.

I posted a similar problem the other day about my 1996 Dodge status. I had a friend at the local dealship put the car on his hand held computer to do a diagostic check on the car. He found that that a pressure sensor on the feon line was bad. He gave me a new sensor told me to unscrew the old one and put this new one on and the fans dont run during cold operation anymore. The fans are two speed fans and do run continuaously during AC operation and during defrost opertation. This pressure sensor monitors the pressure of the freon and when it gets above its set limit it turns on the fans allowing for extra cooling of the engine coolant. Check this because I would have guessed a relay and it wasn't that at all.

That was a great idea. When the pressure switch is disconnected the fan shuts off. But, I replaced the sensor and the fan still runs. I'm still stumped. Thanks for the reply anyway.
