What would cause a car that runs good when cold to miss and run terrible when it warms up?

Why don't you describe this vehicle properly maybe I can help you understand why when hot it runs terrible and misses- Could be compression/fuel/ignition problems

When was the last tune-up? Start by checking for vacuum leaks and inspect the carbuerator choke plate if its fully open after warmed up.
