I have a 1968 MGB with a brake problem. Fluid is escaping, probably from the master cylinder, running down into the driver side floor.
I suspect the seals have failed. Can I replace them myself? I find it difficult to find a garage to work on the car. Thanks.

Hi there,

You can't just replace the seals as the bore of the cylinder should be honed if cast or sleeved if alloy, if honed over size cups should be used and as these are getting hard to purchase, your best & quickest fix is to fit a new master cylinder.
