I wanted to replace my factory issues door lock pulls with a chrome variant. I had successfully installed the front driver, front passenger and rear driver mechanism pulls and had removed the rear passenger pull. When I went back to screw in the new pull there was nothing there! I can't see any threaded mechanism when I inspect it with a flashlight and no amount of probing yields any results!

The threaded door pin is gone and now my door is locked closed! Can I slim jim help to reposition something or is a more extreme solution required?!?

Hey fabes,
Some clarification ...... your installing new chrome external door handles and these new handles have no way to secure them to the door?

If the latch assembly cant unlock because the rod is jamming it, then you might have to try to remove the inner panel enough to gain some access to the rod ar latch.
