A month ago, I took my car into the mechanics as when I was driving my steering locked up every light on the dashboard turned on, i was going 30kmh and the revs were really high and loud. I had to pull over as my engine overheated. Well, the mechanics said it was the ABS pump, so I paid 900$ for it to be fixed. It took them a month with hardly any communication. Got the car back and on the way home it is doing it again.

Hi,

Have you scanned the computer to see if there are relevant diagnostic trouble codes? I watched the video, and it appears there are stability control, ABS, and other related lights turning on. Is that correct?

If it is, this could be something as simple as a wheel speed sensor. If possible, can you have the computer scanned for diagnostic trouble codes? That will point us in the right direction. Most parts stores can do a general scan for you at no charge. However, we may be better off scanning the can-bus system.

CAN stands for controller area network. Basically, the different modules are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will retrieve codes from any module storing codes. In this case, it may be the ABS module.

Here is a link that shows how it's done:

Let me know if that is something you could have done. Also, if you have a scanner that can read live data, check the wheel speeds when the vehicle is moving. They should be at the same speed.

Let me know.
