About 2 to 3 months ago I had my rear passenger taillight out, so I changed it simple. Had no issues w/it until last week! Last week just that 1 taillight I changed was staying lit even after car was shut off and parked! It'd stay on all through the night! I ended up needing a jump, so I took that bulb out. Everything was fine, same as usual afterwards. I charged the battery back up and haven't needed a jump or anything. This battery is almost 1 year old, so its still fairly new. Yesterday all of a sudden I got in truck, started it and every single icon light on dash is on. I don't have windshield wipers, hot and cold gauge not working, neither is speedometer. My son said it can be the battery may have come loose or is dying/not a good battery. Has anyone else had this issue, or experienced something similar? I can turn it off and start it up with out more problems! Haven't needed 2 jump or charge battery! I also have 1 headlight and that 1 taillight (obviously back not working because I removed it!) Its just very strange. I have heat and have lights on dashboard besides icons, radio works! What should I do? Or what can I do to rectify this problem, has anyone else experienced anything like this? Thanks, Shauna

We need to check if there are any codes to start. Then we need to test the battery because this could be caused by a weak battery. Even though you charged it, if it is low on voltage it can cause all sorts of electrical issues. Check the state of the battery and then when it is running as well.

If you can't check codes, most parts stores can check them free of charge.

Lastly, when you hook the light back in that you removed, does it stay on or does everything work after you cycle the key?
