Welcome to 2CarPros. The light staying on signals that a part of the anti-theft system has a hard failure. The first step would be to use a dealer level scan tool to access the security system (SKM) and see which part(s) are not operating. There are multiple parts in the system so no real way to say "It's this part" without scanning it. Don't try disconnecting the battery as a reset, it could stop the vehicle from running at all if the immobilizer tripped due to the faulty part.

Most of the repairs are not that hard, but it depends on which part is bad as to if you need to do any programming on the replacement part.
