Alarm not making chirp sound

I put in a new BCM and new radio. When I hit the alarm on the fob it does not chirp. how can I make it chirp while activating it?

Can you leave the ignition key on for thirty minutes until the security light stops flashing? Then turn the key off on then back on again and start the engine this should reinitialize the system and make it chip.
