When driving down the road with AC on I get plenty of cold air. When I stop the air coming out of the vents gradually warms up. As soon as the car starts moving again it cools down. I rarely hear the radiator fan run. It will come on if the engine is hot and I shut the engine off. But other than that the fan never runs.

Good afternoon.

The AC fan should be on all the time as long as the high side pressure is above 150 lbs.

Have you checked for voltage to the fan?

The PCM controls the fan relay to turn on when the AC is activated. It grounds the fan relay to turn on the fans based on the input from the pressure switch.

It could be either the pressure switch or the PCM. If you have a full blown scan tool, you can monitor the fan from the program.
