In order to replace turn signal switch, I had to remove the steering wheel which necessitated removing the airbag. However, after the reassemble, I see an airbag warning light. I took the steering wheel off again to check for problems. None found. I cleaned the metal contact circle. Reassembled again, same problem. Any ideas? Tom

Hi and welcome to 2CarPros. Can you have the SRS system scanned for trouble codes so we can see what happen. There maybe a connector you may have not secured to the contact reel? But that would most likely also set a traction/stability control malfunction light? If you can get those codes we can try to help you figure out what happened? Most parts stores maybe able to do the scan?
