Airbag Replacement?

Deployed airbag. Is it easier/cheaper to replace just the airbag module or the entire steering wheel?

Hi,

The SRS control module is located under the center console, so I'm not sure what you are asking.

As far as the parts/labor prices, I attached the information below. If in fact you are replacing the module, it would be cheaper than replacing the steering wheel. However, please understand the two components in question are separate. In other words, if you replace the steering wheel, the module is still original.

The airbag deployment cartridge module that is inside the steering wheel. If you can find it cheaper as a unit that yes, go for that, but I would think the airbag individually would be better. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
