Airbag module location

There are six modules. If you are looking for the controller, GM calls it the "Inflatable Restraint Sensing and Diagnostic Module", (SDM). It is listed as "beneath the lower console". It should have a bright yellow connector.

Well I am looking for the one that controls the airbags.

That is the SDM in my previous reply. In the past, those had a "safing" sensor inside which is one of the crash sensors. In case yours has that, be sure that module is always bolted in the original orientation and tilt. Basically that means mounting it on the original bracket or mounts, with no modifications.
