Airbag light stays on?

The truck listed above is a 1500. I checked the passenger side wiring area under the seat. The black wire is disconnected. Does that wire need to be reconnected? If so, where can I get a wire diagram so I can reconnect it?

First, I would disconnect the battery before working with the airbag system. The black wire in question sounds like a ground, but here are the airbag system wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
