Power unit was working earlier today on my car. When I went to the store, I noticed it was not powering up, when I was trying to defrost my windows.

So the blower motor is not working, correct? No air blows out and you cannot hear the blower motor at any speed setting? Chances are the blower motor has gone out or the 40-amp FT HVAC fuse in the rear fuse panel is popped. Here is a guide to help test the power and grounds to the motor and if the fuse is okay, I would replace the blower motor which has the speed control integrated.

Here is the location of the blower motor which is under the dash on the right side. The black wire which is ground and the red/vio wire for power with the ignition system on. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
