Every time I turn on my vehicle the rear air suspension always inflates to the max ride height. I have deflated when the vehicle is running, but if I shut of the vehicle and turn it on again. The air suspension will re inflate to the max ride height.

Start by checking the height sensor by the rear axle. There will be a linkage connected to the axle housing. A good suspect is that linkage popped apart on one end and the sensor is telling the computer the rear needs to be raised a little. Of course, no matter how high the rear goes, the sensor will not move.

If that linkage is okay, the next suspect would be the sensor is defective.
