I recently had a guy replace the rear air shocks on my car, but when my guy put them in the compressor would run but it would not fill the shocks. He ended up putting a valve in the trunk of my car where I could manually put air in my shocks. Does anybody possibly know how much air pressure should be in them?

Good morning,

The pressure is according to load. If you have no one in the back seat, put air in until the car is level. It could be as low as 20 lbs.

If you carry people in the rear, then you will need to add air to compensate for the load. It may take up to 40 lbs depending on how many and what they weight.
