Hi, thanks for letting me ask a question. my stock clamps after 20 plus years just broke off my air intake tube and regular clamps won't work because of the protrusions on the hose. my issue is Ford discontinued this part and i can't get the clamps. what can i do? can you help me?

Probably the easiest solution would be to make a new clamp. To do that take the broken one to a parts store and get a single hose clamp in a size that matches or is longer. Then you have the option of modifying the air tube by cutting off the various protrusions, they are only there to hold the clamp in position so it doesn't move around as it's removed and installed. Or use snips or something like a Dremel tool to make the holes for them in the new clamp. There are a couple clamp options that would work well for this. The T-Bolt style which is mostly solid so you have a lot of metal to make the holes in or find a longer worm style clamp that has enough teeth to tighten down but that has a lot of solid web. You may need to buy something like a 6 inch clamp, then cut off some of the tail to make it work.
