Check engine light is on and the reading says Air intake temp sensor one. My mechanic says there is not one. He has checked with our local Ford dealership and they said there is not one. So what could be causing this reading and how can we make a repair without knowing the problem? We cleared the system but the check engine light came back on after about ten minutes. Thank you for any help!

Hello,

We show an air intake sensor in the main air intake tube between the throttle body and the air filter.

Here is a guise and a diagram to help you get the problem fixed.

Please let us know what happens.
