Air Flow System not working

I noticed that my air system is not working properly. When I pull out the pipe that goes to my air filter it has very little suction. Also, when I pull the air pipe from the intake then it seems normal air suction.

Could you post pictures of which pipes you are referring to please? Also when was the last time the air filter was changed and are you having any other issues like poor mileage or low power?
