Hello, are you having an issue with the idle hunting up and down while the vehicle is stationary? You may have a vacuum leak, or some carbon build up in the Idle Air control valve.
Here are some guides to help find a vacuum leak, and Ill see if I can find a diagram of the idle air control valve.
Below the diagrams will show where the Idle air control valve is and if you have trouble finding it, there is a wiring diagram (4th) that will help, its a 3 wire connector and the wiring diagram shows the colors of those wires. But look for any broken or leaking hoses or lines going to the intake manifold.
there is also a diagram of all the vapor and vacuum hoses (5th) that go to each component in the engine compartment.
If the Check Engine light has come on, you'll need to get is scanned for any trouble codes, your local auto parts store should be able to scan it for free, just write down any codes that might be stored in the engine computer.
