Air flow

I just got this van and when I move the switch to modify the air flow (heater/ ac) it doesn't change. Also I can hear a hiss (like a vacuum line broken). Also I found some mice feces under and into the glove box. How can I access to the vacuum lines in order to fix it (assuming some mouse had chewed one). Thank you!

The face plate for the control has to be removed and unbolt the control head and move it forward to inspect for damage

mice do a lot of damage by chewing through wire harness.
