Air conditioning will not activate?

When I push the A/C button, the sound and "click" that A/C is kicking on is not happening. It blows the same as fan air. I refilled refrigerant, cleaned out filter behind glove box, washed off the front of the A/C condenser. all the things I could do as a layman. Help!

Let's check fuse # 20 7.5-amp fuse in the under-hood fuse panel and fuse #36 in the fuse panel inside the car. Here is a guide that will help and the fuse locations below.

If the system has refrigerant but the compressor is not tuning on, we need to check the red/white wire going to the compressor clutch to test for power while the system is on.

Be careful working around the engine when it is running.
