My air conditioner is not working. My compressor turns on the clutch engages, I have plenty of Freon in the system. I am still not getting cold air everything is working properly. I have tested all the electrical test it all the everything and I still cannot figure out why it is not working. I just added to recharge to it to make sure I let some out and then I added some more just to make sure that proper pressure or testing. All the connections electrical are all working properly. Checked the relay, checked the fuses, the blower motor is working just fine. I rinsed out the front radiator that is fine. So please tell me what you think it might be. The one thing I did notice that when the AC systems on the clutch does come on and engage, but it stays on all the time. It does not start for a few seconds like it normally would when it is running and it is blowing cold air. Could that be a sign that there is something wrong with the clutch? I have no idea. Maybe you can tell me is there a possibility that even if it still might not be cold believe that the clutch is not engaging properly to turn the pump. The pump is not moving the air through the system which means the pipes on getting cold.

Good evening.

Do you know the pressures on the high and low side? That would help us narrow the area of failure.

Roy

It could also be the blend door motor not allowing cold air out the vents.

Thank you for your help. I guess I did not take in to account the temperature out side when filling the AC system. It is ninety five degrees outside. So I spoke to my friend and he said that the refrigerant was still too low. So I added another 10 oz of Freon to the system and that is what did it. Ice cold blows nice and strong.
