Hi all, I've got an odd issue with my A/C where the airflow seems to be really inconsistent. My fan speed rocker doesn't work, so I leave it set to auto and living in Arizona means that auto tends to translate to full blast. However my A/C doesn't seem to know exactly what full blast looks like as sometimes there's just a trickle of air coming out and sometimes my air will sound like a jet engine. It will change from minute to minute, greatly fluctuating the amount of airflow totally randomly.

It's not a huge deal but I was wondering if anyone had an idea of where I could try and look around as I'm not particularly experienced with working on cars.

Hi,

This works off of temperature sensors. I suspect you have a temperature sensor that is not reading accurately or is erratic which causes the blower to fluctuate in Auto setting. Unfortunately the only way to know for sure is to use a scan tool and monitor the temp sensors and see what they are telling the control module.

Do you have a scan tool that can read live data in the AC Control Assembly?
