Good evening,

Can you give me the high and low side pressures of the system so I can see if the freon pressures are correct?

How much did you add?

When you switch from cold to hot and back, do you hear the mode door move in the dash?

I don't have a gauge for the low and high sides. I put a large can in. I tried to put a small can also but the gauge showed it in the high green area and no more came out of the can. When I switch the temperature from hot to cold I don't hear a door. But the air sound is quicker on warm then on cold.

Okay, I would get a set of gauges. You can rent a set at a part store for the check. I need those readings to be sure the system is working.

I attached the test for the air mix door under the dash for you as well in case the motor is not closing off the heater core.

INSPECTION

Okay, 15 pounds is your issue. The expansion valve is stuck closed not allowing Freon into the evaporator.

You need to replace the expansion valve and the dryer.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GemLsZuQeWc

The expansion valve is on the end of the evaporator core under the dash. It will require removal of the heater case to access.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/re-charge-an-air-conditioner-system

I attached a YouTube video of the location and how to get to it without removing the heater case.
