I replaced my compressor, (cheaper than just the clutch). No refrigerate pressure at compressor. Installed compressor, put my machine on to do evacuation there's 80lbs of Freon pressure. How can that be?

Thanks, Mark

Good evening,

When you hooked up the machine, was there Freon still left in the lines from another job? Most guys do not clear the lines when they are done and leave Freon in the lines.

Good find.

Make sure you replace the dryer and evacuate and charge the system.
