The air conditioner on the car turns on and the fan settings work, but air is not blowing as cold as before. When driving about fifteen minutes with air on 60 degrees and the highest fan setting of 5 is it a good chance the the Freon is needed? The car does not have a strange sound and does not overheat. Thank you!

Good evening.

Do you have a set of gauges to measure the high and low side so I can see the readings?

Yes it could be low that is why I need the readings.

Also, what is the temperature? The vent temperature is usually 60% of ambient temperature or the temperature outside the car.

Thank you for your reply. No, I do not have a set of gauges I can try to get some. I do not know what numbers to look for.
The temperature than I have the car on is 60 degrees which typically it would be too cold while on the highest setting of 5; weather has been hot (i.e. 90-103 degrees) but usually after a while it cools down.

Okay.

The vent temperature is pretty good.

When you get the gauges, give the high and low side readings when the AC is on.
