The air conditioner still isn't working after I changed the compressor. The compressor they used was manual instead of automatic. The gas they used in it drained very fast, then I tried putting a new gas, but the system isn't sucking in the gas. I tried a number of things, and it seems the gas may be sucking but the air conditioner isn't cooling still. I changed the air filter as well.

Hi,

When you installed the new compressor, was it the wrong one for the vehicle? Also, are you sure there isn't simply a leak causing the system to not hold pressure when being recharged?

Take a look at this link. It explains how to evacuate and recharge the system. The evacuation is the part I'm interested in having you perform. If there is a leak, it won't hold a vacuum.

Try vacuuming the system to see if it holds a vacuum. Also, let me know what all was replaced and how the system has been recharged so far.

Take care,

Joe
