A/C worked just fine until o rings failed where lines connect together. I replaced o rings. Pulled a vacuum on system, no leaks. Attempting to charge A/C, it will not take refrigerant. I have by-passed circuit breakers so as to engage compressor clutch and cooling fan... It still will not take refrigerant.

Hi,

Is the Schrader valve in good condition? I'm embarrassed to ask this, but are you on the low side of the system? I suspect you know that already, but I just wanted to make sure.

Something is clogged. How long was it non-operational?

Let me know.

Thanks! I found the problem. It was the valve on the can tap. Was not letting refrigerant out. Problem Solved. Charged A/C, works fine now. 36' degrees at vent while idling.
