Air condition had worked perfectly since car was purchased (new) in May 2012.
2 weeks ago (Aug 2020) started car and would only blow hot air. Turned A/C off and drove to destination (approximately 15 miles). Parked car in shade. Approximately 30 minutes later returned to car to come home. Turned on A/C and it blew cold air. About 1/2 way home A/C suddenly started blowing hot air. A/C has been erratic since. Replaced control module (manual)( No improvement) Purchased Blend Door Actuator (not installed yet).

Hi,

When it blows warm air, do you notice if the A/C compressor is cycling on and off? If it is, then I have a feeling you are correct about the blend air door actuator. Take a look through this link. It discusses common causes of issues with the A/C.

Also, Everything I am showing indicates it has duel climate control. That would mean there are two blend air door actuators (left and right). Is your vehicle different?

Here is a link that explains how in general a blend actuator is replaced:

Let me know.
