I would suggest to first carry out a CAN scan to check if any climate control faults might be stored.

If no codes are set then next I would suggest to use a suitable diagnostic tool and look at live data for the pressure switch and evaporator temperature sensor.
If the reading for the pressure switch goes above or below a certain set point the compressor will be deactivated. Same if the temperature for the evaporator goes below 2 degrees C, 3.6 degrees F, the compressor will be deactivated to prevent freezing/icing up.
Also check the ambient temperature reading, the compressor is not activated at temperatures below 5 degrees C, 9 degrees F.
