Air conditioning was working and the clutch was cycling on and off normally. Now, when air conditioning button is depressed, the clutch engages but makes a loud noise which changes with rpm of engine. Air conditioning blows cool but not really cold air. Compressor clutch does disengage when air condition is turned off.
Could it be the relay or pressure switch?

Please advise, thanks

Good morning Neil.

The fact that the AC compressor is making noise is not good. It is either the clutch bearing or the internals in the compressor. This noise will be terminal over time.

No, it is not the pressure switch or relay. It sounds like it is the clutch seized at the pulley. And will not release.

It looks like you will need to replace the compressor, dryer and expansion valve.

Thank you for your response but, the fact that the clutch does disengage when A/C turned off would suggest clutch is not stock, would it not?
