My air conditioning pulley keeps breaking my serpentine belt. Can I bypass the air conditioner and if so, what length belt would I need to do so?

You can only bypass the A/C compressor if the belt does not contact the belt tensioner which it looks like it's going to be close. Here is the belt routing so you can see what it will look like. You will need to get a belt based on trial and error, I usually buy three belts different sizes (smaller than the original) or ask for a belt without A/C which they do not show. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.

Thank you and yes, I see that it will be close, but I can't find a pulley anywhere that will work for this car as a dummy pulley for A/C unit. My A/C works good, but it keeps snapping the belt soon as we put a new one on. My husband said that the A/C pulley is wobbly so that’s why I keep snapping the belt. I wish there was another way to fix this without having to replace the whole A/C unit, but I don’t know how other than putting the dummy pulley, but then I won’t have an air conditioner come next summer. I’m just trying to get it fixed right now so I can drive it because it is my only transportation for now and I have to go to town pretty much daily for my mother who is on hospice, but has chosen to be at home while she passes. So, see this is a big issue for me just trying to get this car mobile again. I will let you know how it works out and what I have to do when I can. Thanks again
