For over a year it has been working intermittently but it has now stopped altogether. It didn't make any strange sounds. It just stopped working.
The fuses are fine, and it doesn't work on any of the power settings.

I can get a blower from a 2008 model, but a mechanic says it would be different which I find difficult to believe?
My car is a Right-hand drive, and I can't even find the blower fan. I have taken out the glove compartment and I wonder if it is still on the right of the steering wheel? Help.

Unfortunately, we don't have a manual for this vehicle, but this is the sister vehicle to one that we do have here in the USA.

So, I am going to attach some info on this because this does sound like a blower motor issue.

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/blower-fan-motor-works-on-high-speed-only

However, even if this is not a motor issue, we still need to access it and check for power.

So, on the USA version it is behind the glove box but not down low below the box but higher up.

So, if your vehicle is right hand drive, I imagine it is this just reversed.

Let us know what you find, and we will do our best to help you with this.

Hello Kenny,

Thanks for looking into this for me. I am still going through all the great info you sent.
A Nissan mechanic has looked at the problem and says the blower motor needs replacing but one will have to come from Japan and it will cost over $500.00! Then that much to put it in the car.
I thought it would be easier but when people start talking about taking the dash apart and I even saw one being replaced in which he took off the steering wheel it is all a bit much.
I did take the glove box off but couldn't see it and wonder if it is now behind the steering wheel? I'll look again this coming weekend.
Stay tuned.
Cheers,
John

Sounds great. Thanks for the update. More than likely it is on the same side as shown in the images above. Even though the steering wheel is on the opposite side, they normally don't build different parts if the same will work. So, this means it is most likely on that side which means the dash will most likely have to come out.

Let us know what you find and hopefully I am wrong. Thanks
