So, I have a aftermarket stereo from Amazon and after I bought a wire harness, I hooked up all the color coated wires, the stereo turns on, but I have no sound, I heard plugging in a blue/white wire can fix it, but I don’t have one on the stereo. I also have a left-over orange/black wire, a grey and plain blue wire, I hooked all the wires I could up to the aftermarket harness and those are just leftovers, would any of those wires cause no sound?

Hi,

Do you know if the original system was the audiophile system? Let me know that.

Also, I attached the schematic below for the non-audiophile system so that you have it as a reference. None of the colors you mentioned (wires) are present in the schematic. By chance, are the wires you referred to in the adapter harness? Also, could you take a few pics of the wiring schematic that came with the new system and adapter? I'll take a look through them and see if I can find a possible cause.

Also, I believe this vehicle has an audio amplifier. Has that been taken into consideration?

Let me know.

joe

See pics below. Note: The pic was one page, but I had to cut it in half to make it readable. I did overlap them so you can follow from one to the next.

I can put a picture of the wiring harness, I’m currently busy so I can’t get a picture of it at the moment.

Hi,

When you get a chance, send a pic of the schematic. I can't tell by looking at the pinout of the connector. Once I see the schematic, the connector will be more helpful.

I hope you understand.

Take care,

Joe
