The aftermarket anti-theft system wiring harness wires that are located right below the steering column were cut near the area of the toggle switch; my vehicle ran fine before this happened. My question is, can I buy a new wiring harness and just replace the areas where it was cut, and the vehicle run again? Will it have to have anything else done to it like flashing?

Hi,

If it is an aftermarket component, I can't be sure if the manufacturer provides a new harness. However, you should be able to splice the wiring back together.

Also, you won't need to flash anything.

Do me a favor. Take a couple of pics of the damage and upload them for me to see. I should be better able to advise you if I see what has happened.

Let me know.

Take care,

Joe
