After taking the front axleoff the 4x4 a day later the 4x4 light come on and the I park .

In the morning as I was cranking I hear a grinding noise like a plate spinning by itself. Can you tell me what is the likely problem

It sounds like a actuator is not fully engaging, can you please upload a short video of the noise so I can hear it? Do you have any warning lights on?
