Transmission leak

I have a 93 acura vigor and it have a tranmission leak at the top. I want to know how did I get it and how can I stop it. A little more information my car smoke whenever I get it on the highway and drive over 50 mph it will smoke real badbut as long as keep it under 40 mph it wont do nothing. And I just found out when I get on the highway and get up to 60 it will not change shifhts. I have 1723860 on the mileage.

Hi,

There is a chance the leak is from a transmission cooling line. Years ago, there was a technical service bulletin out related to the "banjo bolts" leaking where they attached to the transmission.

If you look below, I attached the technical service bulletin for you. It explains how to fix the issue. Note, this is a theory at this point. If you follow the transmission cooler lines from the radiator to the transmission, it will lead you to this point. Check to see if that area is all wet.
